College Sports America announces partnership with European Junior Golf Tour

College Sports America is proud to announce its exclusive partnership with the European Junior Golf Tour. This will be a very beneficial cooperation for all EJGT members who are interested in learning more about combining education and golf at the highest level in the United States.

Meeting

Last week, College Sports America Director Nick Flynn and European Golf Manager Elliot Groves, met with EJGT Founder Roger Shutt. They discussed the last details of the partnership and how College Sports America can help young junior golfers with their dream of playing collegiate golf. Flynn showed his excitement for this new project by saying that: “it was evident from the moment we met Roger, that his passion to help junior golfers was his main priority, which is our main objective as well. Ever since we started College Sports America our main goal has been to help junior golfers in the best way possible and to find the perfect opportunity for them. Our service is and has always been very personal and we really try to have that personal relationship with every single one of our athletes.

The European Junior Golf Tour

European Junior Golf TourThe European Junior Golf Tour was launched in 2000 with some of its most famous graduates being Tommy Fleetwood, Tyrell Hatton, Stiggy Hodgson and Aaron Rai, who are now all enjoying very successful professional careers. The Tour continues to be very successful under the direction of founder Shutt and has the intention to continue to grow. Today, the tour runs a series of 30 nationwide events in the UK every year that are open to junior golfers age 6 to 17. At the end of the season the EJGT holds a final event called the International Tour Championship in Spain, which culminates the season of Race to Spain qualifiers. EJGT founder Shutt was equally excited about the partnership adding that, “this is great for junior golfers who want to take their game to the next level and play college golf and we are very fortunate to have found College Sports America as a partner, who shares the same values and goals.” College Sports America is very excited to start this partnership and being able to inform many junior golfers across the country at future EJGT events.
