Motivated, resilient, calm, supportive, disciplined
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
A memorable moment in my swimming career was finding out that I had made the B-final in the 50m butterfly at my last BUCS. This achievement was particularly meaningful to me, as I was racing against some of the fastest swimmers in the UK, and it came after months of focused and dedicated training.
Goals:
My immediate focus is to qualify for Winter Nationals in December, break the one-minute barrier in the 100m butterfly (long course), and continue improving my performances by dropping time across my main events. Through fine tuning my technique and building strength. I wish to continue my education by pursuing a master’s degree abroad, allowing me to deepen my academic knowledge while gaining valuable life experience in a new cultural and social environment.
Looking ahead, my ambition is to compete at the British Championships, with the ultimate dream of representing my country on the national/international stage.
Anything else we should know?
Before committing to swimming as my main sport, I played for my local football team. Alongside my swimming I attend the gym regularly. I also have an interest in hiking and climbing.
