Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
Driven, resilient, tenacious, coachable, reflective.
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
When I was 12, I was part of our swimming club’s Junior Inter-League team. We had made our league’s final and all was riding on the last race – the canon – as to whether we or another team won. It was that close! I had the privilege of swimming the last leg and took to the water milliseconds after the lad who was swimming our main competitor’s last length. I managed to touch first and our fabulous team effort meant that we won the final – a first in our club’s history – securing a place in the Grand National Final against huge city teams! The whole club was buzzing!
Goals:
My goal is to give everything my all, to listen and act upon the advice I am given, and to make the most of – and enjoy – every opportunity that I am gifted.
Anything else we should know?
I am a member of the Swim England National Age Development Programme: 2023-2024.
