Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
The most memorable moment of my athletic career was when I won a silver medal in the 100m fly at Nationals. It was an exciting but high-pressure environment and performing well showed me that I can thrive in competitive settings and can move my swim forwards when it matters.
Goals:
Short term goal: to qualify for British Summer Championships and to continue to lower my personal bests as I rebuild full race fitness.
Long term goal: Compete and medal at national level, join a strong university team that I can positively contribute to, as well as continuing high quality training alongside studying.
Anything else we should know?
I began swimming competitively aged 7, progressing through to a high performance squad and competing nationally. At 16, I took a seasons break from swimming to focus on my academics and personal development. Returning to the sport has strengthened my motivation and resilience, and I am now fully committed to rebuilding my performance and progressing long term asa student-athlete. In addition, I have competed in a national cross-country race and played league hockey which helped me to develop endurance and teamwork.
