Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
Winning a bronze medal in 4×100 Medley Relay in the Aquatics GB Next Generation Summer Championships in 2025 stands out as my best memory because it combined strong individual performance with a team win, my role in the relay contributed to a result from collective effort and teamwork of the whole squad competing at a national level.
Also, making the junior final of the 400m freestyle at the Aquatics GB Swimming Championships 2026 was a key milestone for me, it was my first final at a British open event and reflected my progression to competing at the highest national level against senior swimmers, while also showing my development across shorter distance events.
Goals:
What are your goals? Short-term goals
To build on my current UK ranking of 3rd in the 400m freestyle, my immediate goal is to continue improving my freestyle events while also developing my 200m Backstroke as an additional key event. I am targeting medals at Aquatics GB Next Generation events, maintaining a top national ranking in the 400m, 800m and 1500m freestyle, and moving into the UK top 5 for 200m Backstroke long course.
Medium-term goals
Over the next stage of my development, I want to progress from national finalist and medallist level towards international consideration standards. A key target is to move closer to European Junior consideration times, particularly in the 400m, 800m and 1500m freestyle, while continuing to improve my 200m Backstroke ranking. I also want to continue to show myself as a consistent performer at major national meets broadening the number of events I qualify for.
Long-term goals
My longer-term ambition is to become a successful student-athlete at an American College, combining high-level academic study with elite swimming. I want to continue developing through a performance-focused environment and ultimately put myself in a position to compete at senior national and international level.
Anything else we should know?
I currently train around 19 hours per week in the pool alongside gym work, approaching this with a disciplined and focused mindset. I take pride in being consistent, reliable, coachable and I respond well to feedback to support continuous improvement.
