Interview

Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:

competitive, focused, accurate, adaptable, learner

Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

One of my best individual memories is the win of the Hofgards Junior Open. This one is special to me because I did it in a playoff. After 18 holes I was 4 strokes behind the lead and I knew I needed to do something extra to catch up. The first 9 holes of the second round I played pretty solid in one under par but I knew that it would not be enough. So the last 9 holes I clenched my fist and finished with five birdies and four pars of which four birdies were in a row. I finished at 6-under par and in a tie for the lead. In the playoff I made the process very short and made a birdie on the first playoff hole to win!

Goals:

My biggest goal in golf is pretty simple and it is of course to become a professional golfer. This is of course a long-term goal that requires a lot to achieve. To achieve this, I have to achieve many sub goals along the way. Every year, me and my coach set up new goals to continue the chase for the long-term goal that I dream of. One of my sub goals is college golf. I think that college golf is an amazing opportunity for me as a golfer to prepare for the bigger stage. This is also a good opportunity to get a good education.

Anything else we should know?

I am very competitive and love to play under pressure!
