Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
Determined, focused, hardworking, competitive, patient
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
My best memory is from the European Ladies’ Team Shield Championship in Switzerland. On the final day, I had to really focus, because my opponent was the winner of stroke play with a score of -5. The match was intense and very close, especially after our foursome team had to stop their game. The match stayed tight. I was 1 down on hole 12, tied it on hole 13, went 1UP on hole 14, then 2UP on hole 15. My opponent won hole 16, so I was 1UP. We tied hole 17, and I finished with a birdie on hole 18, winning the match 2UP.
I’m really proud that I played great golf under pressure. And the best part — it was my birthday and our team won bronze in the European Ladies’ Team Shield Championship. It was Estonia’s first-ever women’s golf medal!
Goals:
My goal is to become the second Estonian female golfer to compete in professional tournaments. Before that, I want to play college golf in the U.S., improve my game every year and be a valuable teammate on a strong university team.
Anything else we should know?
Golf is my biggest passion. I train all year round — indoors during the winter, and at training camps in Spain and Turkey. I’m motivated, eager to learn and excited to grow as both a golfer and a person in a U.S. college environment.
