Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
n my golf career so far, I have experienced two truly unforgettable moments. The first was the third win of my career achieved during a demanding 3 day competition. During these days I played solid with the scores of 77,73,71 and always maintained my focus especially on the last day when I delivered my best performance. It was a long day, and everything came down to the last hole, with another player tied at -1, creating an atmosphere of pure tension. We both made par, which led to a playoff immediately. I had never felt so much excitement and adrenaline. After three playoff holes, I finally managed to secure my long awaited win. I was full with joy, and at the same time so determined. This experience showed my true strength and resilience, remaining one of the most unforgettable moments of my career.
The second moment that I will never forget, reflects a side of sport that many golfers don’t talk about, the emotional and physical challenges. One of the most awaited tournaments of the year finally arrived: the Internazionali d’Italia U18, where girls all around the world came to compete. I was so confident going into this tournament and I really thought I was going to kill it after an immense amount of preparation and hard work that was unquantifiable. However, after two long days, I didn’t make the cut. I was so disappointed in myself and I had so many mixed emotions, it was really one of the most difficult defeats of my career. After taking time to reflect I managed to shift my mindset from frustration to growth. I focused on understanding my mistakes and finding ways to improve. This experience taught me to learn from my mistakes by turning setbacks into motivation and continue to push forward with greater determination. It was a powerful lesson.
Goals:
To level up my game in the college team and to become the best version of myself.
Anything else we should know?
I participated in the school volleyball team for 5 years.
