Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
My best memory of my athletic career is swimming the 4×100 freestyle relay at the World Junior Swimming Championships in Otopeni 2025. I had not expected to swim this relay at all as there were many other faster freestylers on the team. However, the day before the relay, I was informed that I would have to step up and swim the relay as my teammates were either sick, tired or had to swim the 1500 free on that same day. While I was originally very nervous as I did not want to let the team down, I did not let my nerves get to me and swam a personal best time. It was a very meaningful race, and reminded me that my hard work in the pool does pay off, as I am prepared to race at any time.
Goals:
To qualify for the World Short Course and Asian Short Course competitions, represent my country and make finals in the Junior Pan Pacific and Southeast Asian Games.
