Interview

Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:

determined, organized, versatile, quirky, innovative

Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

My best memory so far was flying out to Dublin with the England Schools Cross Country Team to represent England in a Home Nations Race. There was a great team spirit and I really enjoyed the race. We won team gold and I was really pleased with my overall position in the race finishing 6th in a very strong field!

Goals:

I am always surprised when I do well in a race, because of this I find it difficult to think about future goals. I would love to earn a GB vest and to take part in a European Championship. In the shorter term, I am looking forward to getting back on the track with a focus on improving my PBs. I did not complete in the 800m and 1500m in 2020, due to Covid, so I want to bring my 2019 times down this coming season. I am aiming for 2:10 or below in my 800m and 4:30 or below in my 1500m. My life goals are to find a career that enables me to work with people on global projects. I want to help engineer things that make the world a less polluted and more sustainable place.

Anything else we should know?

I live in Windsor Castle and have a love for history. Other than running, my favourite pastime is reading. As a family we love adventures and enjoy paddle boarding, camping, rock climbing and swimming.
