Interview

Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:

Calm, competitive, focused, tough-minded, team-player

Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

My favorite memory was the first time I played under par at an official tournament. I played at with an 8 handicap at the time and was five over par in the first round after I made a triple bogey on 18th, so I was a little frustrated. I put that behind me and focused on the next round. In the second round we started at the 10th hole and played the back nine which were easier than the front nine. I played the back nine in par and was really proud because as I mentioned my handicap at the time was around 8. Then on the first hole on of our back nine I made a double bogey, which really annoyed me, but I chose to forget it and focus on the next hole, then I made two birdies in a row and was back at level par. I stood on the 18th green with a birdie putt for a 1-under total. The putt was probably about 4 meters (13 feet). I was nervous, but confident and I holed the putt and that was my first round under par.

Goals:

My goal is to go to college in the USA and really improve my game and hopefully become good enough to become a professional golfer. I think that college golf would really improve my game, because I would be surrounded by other people who are just as ambitious and focused.

Anything else we should know?

The greatest thing about me as an athlete is my mentality, no temper, not a bad loser but very competitive.
