Interview

Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:

Competitive, resilient, driven, determined, persistent

Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

My best memory in golf was coming off the putting green after I made a birdie on the 18th green shooting a 68.

Goals:

I would like to become the best wedge player I can be and the most dominant player in the NCAA from 100 yards in.

Putting average of 27.25.

Improve proximity ball dispersion with irons and proximity to the pin (keeping in mind which side of the hole is best to be on).

Anything else we should know?

I found a lot of inspiration from Jin Young-Ko. I was drawn to her ability to stay on top of leadership, admiring her coolness under pressure. The way she handles situations and controls her emotions is something I aspire to emulate.

My father introduced me to golf when I was nine, providing an amazing boost of confidence that drove me to succeed in the game. It spurred ambitions and goals that would not only be important in my golf game but in my life as a whole.

The easy route in life is never fulfilling, and golf provides tremendous challenges and a sense of accomplishment. I have not faced a greater challenge in my life than the pursuit of perfection in my game. I would not be satisfied accomplishing those things as opposed to getting one stroke better in golf.
