Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:
disciplined, coachable, committed, intelligent, driven
Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
My best racing memory came at the 2024 Dubai Open Swimming Championships, where at 15 years old I competed in the female open final of the 200‑metre backstroke. Racing against older, experienced swimmers pushed me to elevate both my focus and execution.
Goals:
My goal is to fully contribute to a collegiate swim programme while successfully managing a demanding academic pathway in biomedical science and later medicine, using the discipline and work ethic developed through swimming to help achieve my ambition of becoming a surgeon.
Anything else we should know?
I volunteer weekly on a dementia ward at Derby Hospital, which has strengthened my commitment to studying medicine and developed skills such as empathy, communication, and resilience. Managing this responsibility alongside high level swimming reflects the discipline, time management, and mental toughness I bring to my sport.
