Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
My performance at the 2025 English National Championships, to win gold in the 200m Breaststroke. In August at English Nationals in Sheffield I took part in one freestyle event and three breaststroke events, and up to that point had still not managed to final.
The final breaststroke race, on the final day was the 200m. I went on to qualify for the final and would start in lane 1. I got out of the pool met my coach at the side of the pool, and burst into tears with happiness, celebrating with my teammates, as I had achieved what I had aimed to do so many months earlier.
Swimming in a lane away from expected race leaders, I went on to win … and claim gold and become English National Champion, I couldn’t believe it.
Goals:
Improve my swimming times and qualify for a British National final and qualify for college meets; Maintain strong grades while balancing training and schoolwork; Contribute positively to a college swim team
Anything else we should know?
I have achieved grade 6 in Ballet and modern/jazz and grade 5 in tap. I also represented my school in county and regional athletics in the 200m and 800m.
