Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:
I truly enjoyed participating in my first international tournament (DIAC 2025) at Silkeborg CG. Just experiencing the atmosphere and the strong playing field was an awesome experience.
Second off, I have very fond memories of my finish when participating in my first national junior championship (2024). We had played 17 holes, when the round was suspended due to bad weather. After a rain delay, we returned to the course. I knew I had to make birdie on a very difficult 18th hole to make the cut. Despite the long delay, and no warm-up, I kept my composure and positive attitude. I ended up making a great birdie.
Goals:
In the long run, it’s getting to play at a great college and possibly be able to give pro golf a shot.
More short term, it’s improving my swing and swing speed, and improve my stats on the upgame app.
For the 2026 season, it’s placing well in some big tournaments, getting a placement on WAGR and playing in bigger tournaments than I have experienced so far. My goal is to compete in tournaments such as European Boys Team Championship or The Boys Amateur.
Anything else we should know?
I’ve played team sports my entire life. I consider myself a true team player, supporting everyone on my team. I took up golf about 4 years ago (during Covid) and I haven’t looked back since. I love spending time on the golf course, both with my brothers (who also play golf) but also my golfing friends. I’m very detail oriented and love the technicalities in a golf swing.
