Why do you want to compete in college?
I want to feel the thrill and support of a college team where everyone is striving toward the same goal and giving their all. I’ve always loved team competitions during my time competing at the elite level, so the chance to experience that every week would be a dream come true. On top of that, traveling and seeing different states is an unforgettable opportunity that I would truly value.
What are your gymnastics goals?
I want to keep improving on all events and become more consistent in competition. I would love to compete an E skill in one of my routines and place at a national competition whilst remaining my bubbly self.
I want to compete for a team while also gaining the qualifications I need to pursue my future career. Being part of a college program would allow me to grow not only as an athlete but also as a student, balancing high-level gymnastics with academic achievement building a strong foundation for my future.
What makes you different?
While others may be more naturally talented, no one can match my work ethic. When I decided that college gymnastics was something I wanted to pursue, I committed fully, improving my diet and sleep patterns to get the most out of every training session. I never give up, and this determination drives me to keep pushing my limits and contribute everything I can to my team.
I love a game. Whether it’s Snakes and Ladders, Stick It, or a full gymnastics competition, I give it my all. I’ve always been full of energy, channeling my nerves into excitement — jumping up and down, ready to take on whatever comes my way!
What is your favourite event and why?
Floor has always been my favourite. I have always loved to dance no matter where I am, so being able to perform to an audience is where I light up. I also love to be powerful. I find that if I’m struggling on floor I can channel my frustration into anger to really nail a skill. Combining the fast, dynamic tumbling with the more graceful dance elements there are so many components to a floor routine. There is no better feeling then striking your ending pose, knowing you left everything on the floor.
