Interview

Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:

ambitious, determined, competitive, resilient, intelligent

Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career

In 2017, I first won the Junior Great North Run. I did not expect to win, so it made it even more special. It was on my birthday and in my home town, representing the club of the founder of the Great North Run. To me it was the turning point in my athletic career. It was the first time I had beaten all my North East rivals over a long distance and I have been undefeated ever since. Also all of my family were there which was just amazing!

Goals:

My short term goal is to make the GB team for the U18 European Championships in 2020. I then would also like to represent my country in the seniors at events such as the Commonwealth Games and Olympics!

Anything else we should know?

I have won several awards, both for my athletics and my academics!
