Interview

Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:

Competitive, dedicated, hardworking, ambitious, team-player

Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

My top memory as a swimmer this season was when I, together with my Leinster Interprovincial Team, raced in the National Championship. In this competition, I swam both individual events and relays. I achieved an Irish Junior Record in the 4x50m Freestyle relay. The entire team gave it their best and it was very exciting to be back doing what I love, swimming and racing.

Goals:

My ultimate goal is to qualify and compete in the 2028 Olympics in LA. My long term goal is that I would like to continue to develop my swimming alongside my studies at university. My current goal is to represent Ireland in as many International competitions as I can.

Anything else we should know?

After 18 months of no formal racing or training, it was great to get back to the water late 2021. I love working on my swimming and enjoy the process of continuing to lower my times. I am delighted to be back competing and getting some new personal bests. It is very gratifying to see all the hard work paying off.
