Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:

dedicated, determined, resilient, hard-working, team-player

Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

My best memory of my golfing career is when I represented Lincolnshire at the Boys’ County Finals. On the third day Lincolnshire played against Yorkshire. In the morning we had foursomes. I went out first with my playing partner of +1 and we played against two +1 golfers. We had a rough first 6 holes and were 3 down. On the 7th, a par 5, my partner holed a 100 yard pitch for an eagle which started our comeback. On the 17th hole, my partner hit a great drive, 300 yards straight as an arrow, and I hit a 96 yard pitch to 7 feet and he sunk the putt to send us 1up down the last hole. I hit a lovely drive down the middle leaving him 125 yards. Our opponents were 5 yards behind us, so they played first and hit it to within 10 feet. My partner hit it to 15 feet, so I was to putt first, and we walked around the hole at every angle to get the best chance possible to hole the putt. I stood over this putt needing to hole it for a 1.5-1.5 draw for the morning session, whilst being a bit nervous. I holed this putt for the win and everyone cheered, which was such a great experience!

My short term goal is to be a plus golfer. After that I want to be a successful college golfer and then hopefully play as a touring pro. If that fails, I would still like to work in the golf industry.

Anything else we should know?

I also used to play football (soccer), but when I was 10 years old I had to miss a golf tournament because of a game my team had. That was the day I realized I needed to pick the sports I loved the most, which obviously was golf!
