Interview

Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:

ambitious, focused, passionate, motivated, team-player

Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

About three years ago, I had a match where I was totally lost on the court and just did not have my best day. I lost the first set very clearly and was down an early break in the second set as well. However, somehow, at the end of the second set I started playing better and better. After winning the second set, I stayed focused and was able to close out the match to my advantage. It was a great comeback win and winning matches in three sets after dropping the first is always a great feeling!

Goals:

I want to keep improving and become the best tennis players that I possibly can. I also want to help my college team win every match that we play!

Anything else we should know?

Back in 2016 I spent 9 month at Kelvin Grove State College in Brisbane, Australia. I was able to improve my English there and really work hard on my tennis game as well. It was an honor for me to play for the tennis team of the school and to represent the school at various matches throughout Australia.
