Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:

ambitious, passionate, competitive, hard-working, team-player

Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

Four years ago, I was given the opportunity to play the 2016/2017 season for the U17 Bundesliga team of German powerhouse Hamburger SV. Even though I was only fourteen years old by that time and too young for this team, the coaches wanted me on the team and gave me this great opportunity to improve my game and skills during this competitive season. My best memory during this year was the first game where I was brought in after only 20 minutes and I did a very good job on a position I had never played before. My other best memory was the crucial goal I scored in the final game of the championship. After my best friend, who I have played with for a long time, hit a freekick against the wall, the ball came back to her and after she passed it right to me I shot from a wide distance and scored!

I have always had the dream of playing college soccer in the US. Now this is hopefully going to become a reality and I am excited and willing to give it my all both on the soccer pitch and in the classroom!

Anything else we should know?

My strengths in soccer include my focus and my concentration during the game and my ability to think ahead and understand the game. Also, my technical ability and my athleticism, such as my speed, have made me become a strong soccer player over the past few years. I also love to play team sports which makes me a good team player and a motivational and positive thinking teammate.
