Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:

Determined, hardworking, loyal, motivated, dreamer

Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

In Februray 2017, at the Italian U18 Indoor Championships. I was in the call room and one guy said me “wow, you have a very good time in the entry list.” But in a humble way I reassured him: “Don’t worry, this is an outdoor time, and I am not as fast indoors.” Only five minutes later, I recorded the second best time ever in Italy over the 200m for an under 18 runner, half a second faster my previous outdoor personal best. Now every time I am tired or stressed, I think about that moment. This taught me to believe more in my capabilities and that I can achieve great results with hard work and practice.

When I do track and field I feel as if it is a gym of life and I translate the competition and values of the sport to all other aspects of my life. I have big objectives such as the olympics and winning world championship medals, they are my biggest dreams, but if unfortunately something does not go well I am not worried as I will have done everything I possibly can to try. And in my opinion there is no better way to push myself than by running track and field in an American university.

Anything else we should know?

I love sports and love practicing and watching all types of sports. I also enjoy reading, especially European literature and economics magazines. I love learning new things and to stay informed and I believe that it is very important in life to do so.
