Interview

Give us 5 words that best describe you as an athlete:

persistent, mindful, dedicated, driven, hard-working

Tell us about your best memory of your athletic career:

My best golfing memory was when I participated in the Austrian National Championship at age 12. Another great moment was when I made an eagle by holing out from the fairway! The energy rush of seeing that shot go in was such a great feeling and it gave me a great sense of joy!

Goals:

My dream is to turn my passion into my profession. Ultimately, I would like to follow in the footsteps of other successful Austrian players such as Bernd Wiesberger, Sepp Straka and Matthias Schwab and intend to play and win on the PGA Tour.

Anything else we should know?

I want to do anything in order to turn my dream of becoming a professional golfer into reality. The only thing I do not want to say to myself at the end of the day, is that I could have tried harder. My education is also very important to me and since the Theresianum is an academically very challenging school, that runs a full day curriculum (8am – 6pm) and does not allow students to miss school in order for them to play tournaments, I had to do my homework, studying and working on group projects mainly after school and during the weekends, which did not leave much time for practicing golf, not to mention playing tournaments. Nevertheless, and despite the workload at school I managed to improve my golf game a lot over the past year or so!
